Room 308, Tuesday morning

Hermione heard the announcement. She thought this would be a huge failure, yes. What's really scary is that it doesn't even alarm her anymore that her first thought was to spend tonight in the hall in a sleeping bag.

She'd made the decision that for every announcement, Umbridge needed to be negatively reinforced. Thusly, she was sitting on her bed, knitting more oddly-shaped socks and wondering whether the dildo cozy conga line should wait a couple days, or if she should just keep up with it the whole week.


[Mostly for people interested in this post. I'm headed to work soon, but will check when I can throughout the day and be back at 5:30 PST. Yay SP!

Hermione sighed. "It was only a matter of time before she started with that. Does it hurt? I have something to help, if you need it." Yeah, she'd stocked up in preparation.

Seely nodded. "Still hurts a bit, yeah," he said. "Don't tell Aravis I said that."

"I won't say a word," she promised, and got to work setting up a bowl on her desk with the essence of murtlap, mentally cursing Umbridge while she did. When she'd finished, she pulled out the chair and instructed him, "Put your hand in there to soak for a while."

"Thanks," Seely said softly as he put his hand in the water.

"I'm trying to create a hostile enough environment for her to leave," she said.

"Have I ever told you how much I like the way your mind works?" Seely asked, smirking slightly.

"No, but thank you," she said with a little smile. "She shouldn't be allowed to do things like this. And we shouldn't stand for it."

"Don't intend to," Seely said. "Need to talk to Rikku about that too."

"Everyone isn't going to get naked, are they?" Hermione asked, frowning.

"I doubt it'll be everyone," Seely replied.

"I'll hear about it afterward," she decided.

Hermione stared at him, really terrified to ask why.
