Room 308, Friday evening
Jun. 15th, 2007 09:01 pmHermione has been trying to read, which was why she was ignoring her phone for so long. When she finally picks it up, she's surprised at how many messages she has. She doesn't exactly get a lot of calls.
The first is one of those calls where you're kind of left staring at the phone, and then have to listen again just to be sure you heard right. She dials the number back to leave a clear and firm dismissal. The second is confusing, and she only calls back to put him in his place.
The third actually has her shrieking "WHAT?" at nothing, thusly scaring Crookshanks into hiding, and she's not any less flaily when she returns the call.
The next is just insulting, and Hermione calls back, probably showing her frustration by now. And the fifth... Seriously? She calls back, flailing more.
She gives up. She's going to just put the phone somewhere she can't see it, and where people can't make her angry or flaily, and where the book can't piss her off.
Unless anyone else calls.
