Room 308, Tuesday morning

Hermione heard the announcement. She thought this would be a huge failure, yes. What's really scary is that it doesn't even alarm her anymore that her first thought was to spend tonight in the hall in a sleeping bag.

She'd made the decision that for every announcement, Umbridge needed to be negatively reinforced. Thusly, she was sitting on her bed, knitting more oddly-shaped socks and wondering whether the dildo cozy conga line should wait a couple days, or if she should just keep up with it the whole week.


[Mostly for people interested in this post. I'm headed to work soon, but will check when I can throughout the day and be back at 5:30 PST. Yay SP!

"You know, they probably would. I doubt that woman has ever been hugged in her li-" Hermione's eyes went very wide. "We could get everyone to hug her."

"She would kill us," Rikku giggled madly. "It would be the best thing ever. We should set up outside her office, like, FREE HUGS, and when she comes out to yell at us be all 'Someone didn't get hugged today! Group hug everybody!' and ..."

She had to stop there because she was laughing too hard.

"This has to happen!" Hermione decided. "It might send her screaming!"

Rikku bounced, clapping her hands. "We've gotta get people together. A whole group of us, with signs! When are you free? She's gonna freak out and this is so great and I can't wait." She collapsed into giggles again.

"Maybe we can even get some teachers involved," Hermione suggested.

Rikku laughed. "Is there a National Hugging Day? Can we start one? I'm totally willing to say it's an Al Bhed thing and she'll be repressing my culture if I can't hug her."

"You know, I don't think she'd care, but it might make her more prone to believe it," Hermione giggled.

"I'll make posters!" Rikku laughed. "When's good? We need time to get people on board but if we give it too much notice she'll shut it down."

"If we do it on a weekend we might be able to get more people involved," Hermione said, considering it and checking OOCly. "Maybe keep it relatively quiet or wait a day or two before advertising?"

[the_merriest]

"Sounds awesome. I'll try to get people involved without raising a big stink." She giggled. "Sunday might be better than Saturday. I have a feeling there's gonna be a lot of people in detention this week."

"I might be one of them," Hermione admitted. "If so, I'll be able to get the word around."
