Room 308, Tuesday morning

Hermione heard the announcement. She thought this would be a huge failure, yes. What's really scary is that it doesn't even alarm her anymore that her first thought was to spend tonight in the hall in a sleeping bag.

She'd made the decision that for every announcement, Umbridge needed to be negatively reinforced. Thusly, she was sitting on her bed, knitting more oddly-shaped socks and wondering whether the dildo cozy conga line should wait a couple days, or if she should just keep up with it the whole week.


[Mostly for people interested in this post. I'm headed to work soon, but will check when I can throughout the day and be back at 5:30 PST. Yay SP!

Willow got out her notebook - it was Willow, she always had one handy, and started to take notes. "How do we feel about spells that create light shows?"

"We feel pretty good about it," Hermione said. "You can do that?"

"I can adapt some of my spells," Willow said, looking far too eager. "Oo! What about noise? She put a silence spell on me. I feel this would be justice."

"She put a-" Hermione sighed in exasperation. "Noise is good. Trumpets blasting every hour on the hour or something. If I knew where she was staying I'd say it would be good there, too."

"What about songs?" Willow asked. "That way when she's not near the spell? Still has the lyrics stuck in her head."

"Yes!" Hermione said, almost too excitedly. "Especially if it's music from here. She'd hate having to deal with Muggle music that long."

"This is going to be way too much fun," Willow said. "She'll regret the day she messed with us!"

"And all the other days she messed with us after the first day," Hermione said with a little smile.

"Well I meant it in a 'started' sort of sense," Willow said.

Hermione just smiled. "I think we might actually be able to pull this off. It's hard to stop chaos you bring on yourself."

"I'll go work on the spell," Willow said. "If I am caught, feel free to disavow all knowledge of my being here."

"We never saw each other," Hermione nodded. "Good luck, Willow."
