Room 308, all day

Hermione has been doing things other than studying. Like knitting. She's already written the letter to her friends back home yelling at them for not writing her like they promised, and just for that, they're going to have to distribute clothing items to the house elves.

So early in the morning she puts out a large box outside of 308 with a sign above it reading


CLOTHING DRIVE
LEAVE CLOTHES HERE, FREE A HOUSE ELF!
(Benefitting the house elves of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry)

[I'll be afk for most of the day, but feel free to stop by and leave things in the box. Clothing, knitted items, gum wrappers, that rock you've had in your shoe all day, what have you.]

Layla wasn't quite sure how clothes freed house elves, but she had some things she'd outgrown, and came back to the box with them. Hopefully, the house elves liked green.

Rikku bounced into the room sometime in the late afternoon. "Hermione! Guess what! We won!!" And with that she showed off her medal and did a booty-shaking little victory dance.

Hermione pauses in her knitting. "Congratulations! By how many points?"

She has no idea.

Rikku giggled. "They didn't say! Just that we won! The other girls were really ticked off, too."

She bounced a bit. "So what's the box?"

"Donations for the house elves of Hogwarts," Hermione says proudly. "They need to be given clothing to be set free from a life of forced servitude, and while people there need to be forced into helping, everyone here's been very supportive and cooperative."

Parker did actually have a few things she was never going to wear again. Shrugging she dropped off last year's Dolce & Gabbana, and a few shirts that were now past retro.

Willow dropped off some shirts she never wore and some worm scarves that were accidentally knitted too big for worms to wear.

After he'd come back from the competition, Alec wandered by and saw the box.

A couple minutes later, he returned with an armful of dildo cozies, in most conceivable colors and quite a few sizes. And possibly an actual scarf or two in the mix.

He felt really good as he walked away, even if he had no idea what house elves would do with dildo cozies.
