Room 308, Sunday afternoon

Hermoine had spent her morning on her lapptop. She'd been the only girl at Hoggwarts who was allowed to have one and she brought it to Fandom with her. It was the latest model. She didn't like any of the clothes in her closet, and they were all too much like the ones she used to wear before she was all popular, so she spent a lot of time shopping online with her parents' credit card to fix that.

Right now she had some Panic at the Disco playing on her brand new iPod and was hating the world and looking really beautiful doing it.

Ron had spent most of yesterday in hiding in the hopes that his weird language thing had gone away and no one would remember.

So it was a oblivious Ron who poked his head into Hermione's room. "Hey Granger. What's with the music?"

Hermoine rolled her eyes at the boy she'd totally told to get lost like a whole year ago when she discovered how fabulus she was. "You wouldn't understand," she said.

"What? It's just music," Ron said defensively. "You can't even tell me the name of the band?"

"If you don't already know it then you dont deserve to" said Hermoine. "GOD. I thought I got rid of you when I changed over the summer and switched houses."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Ron asked. "We live in the same dorm. Across the hall."

"Like I'd let myself live across the hall from a Gryffindor," she said, and rolled her eyes. She was realyl good at eyerolls. Amber even said so.

"You've always been in Gryffindor!" Ron protested. "Except when you were here but that doesn't count. And last summer you were here on this crazy island!"

hermoine sat up with another eyeroll. Seriously, couldn't he just UNDERSTAND that things weren't the same anymore since she got a life and figured out she was fantaastic? "I used to be, but the Sorting hat thought I would be better in Slytherin and it was right," she said impiriously.

"You're just gonna have to get used to it," said Hermoine. "Ever since I found out my father's really Head master Snape I've really known where my place was."

... "Have you COMPLETELY LOST IT?!" Ron bellowed. "Your parents are-"

Ron had to think about that for a moment.

"Teeth doctors!"

"That's what I used to think," she said, rolling her eyes. "Where have YOU been?"

"I've been at Hogwarts! Where Dumbledore is still headmaster!" Ron flailed. "And you are NOT related to that bugger!"

"Don't call him that!" hermoine said, exploding. She stood up. "You take that back or I'll curse you with my magic!"

"He's the slimiest slug who ever crawled out of a rock!" Ron yelled angrily. "And if Harry were here he'd agree with me!"

"WELL HE'S NOT AND I'M THE OPNE WHO DEFEATED VOLDERMOT ANYWAY AND WHAT DO YOU KWOW," said Hermoine.

"I KNOW YOU'RE COMPLETELY MENTAL!" Ron shouted back and stepped forward. "C'mon. You're coming me with the clinic. You've obviously bashed your head in."

Hermoine was not going to be taken to the clinic! She was smater than all of them anwyays. "NO," she said, shouting. She didn't need her want to do magi anymore so she tried to close the door on him without moving, and the door started to slam.

The door almost smacked Ron right in the face which did not improve his mood.

"You're completely insane!" Ron shouted as he stomped away. "Mental! Absolutely mental!"

"YOU ARE!" Hermoine said back, shouting. Ha. She'd showed him!

Hmp, Hermoine thought. She didn't have to give him the satisfacton of thinking he was worth her arguing. She knew she was right. It was just like dealing with the common room wannabe Goth with the bad makeup.
